les rencontres informelles de type \u00ab salon \u00bb de l\u2019europe des lumi\u00e8res \u00e9taient un v\u00e9ritable refuge pour la musique, le savoir et l\u2019amiti\u00e9. nous pensons que ces traditions n\u2019ont pas besoin de rester coinc\u00e9es au xviii\u1d49 si\u00e8cle. chez twisted pearl, on se consacre \u00e0 faire revivre l\u2019esprit de ces salons \u00e0 montr\u00e9al et on sait qu\u2019un flux constant de musique nouvelle est essentiel pour faire vivre une communaut\u00e9 cr\u00e9ative. entour\u00e9s de compositeur\u00b7ices talentueux\u00b7ses qui int\u00e8grent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement leurs \u0153uvres \u00e0 nos programmes, nous sommes donc ravis de pr\u00e9senter, pour notre dernier concert de la saison, \u00ab terminus montr\u00e9al \u00bb,\u00a0 une rencontre annuelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

this show, which won 3rd place in early music vancouver\u2019s 2025 emerging artists competition, early music vancouver<\/em>is reserved entirely for contemporary music composed in various historically informed styles by composers in montr\u00e9al\u2019s historically informed composition scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

this concert will feature the winning piece from twisted pearl\u2019s first annual annual international competition for historically informed composition (ICHIC)<\/a><\/strong> , the only competition of its type in the world, which exists to encourage the discipline of historically informed composition in young composers from diverse backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

terminus montr\u00e9al is both an ending and a new beginning for us. though we get a little nostalgic because it\u2019s our last concert of the year, we\u2019re prepared to return in the new year with fresh tunes that represent the living tradition we live to share with you! relax, have a glass of wine, and experience the bright future of music with us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
